Description:
Cilantro is a leafy green herb with a strong taste. It is common in Mexican, South American, and Asian Dishes.
Add cilantro to season sauces, salsa, fish, beans, rice and salads.
Fresh herbs can be kept chopped in the refrigerator for up to five days, it is recommended that you wrap them loosely in a paper towel and then place them in a plastic bag. Whole herbs can be kept by placing them in a glass soaking their roots in water; change the water daily and they typicaly last for about 5 days. To freeze fresh herbs, cut them finely and store in a plastic container or plastic bag.
