Raspberries are particularly well suited to the temperate, wet climate of the Pacific
Northwest. Our puree is a blend of primarily two varietals: Heritage and Meeker.
Heritage raspberries are a large, sweet, dark red berry with a mild flavor. It is the traditional standard for fall fruiting raspberries. This superior quality berry is good for fresh eating, freezing, canning, and preserves.
Meeker raspberries are large, thimble shaped, dark red berries with high sugar content and good quality flavor. This varietal was specifically bred by Washington State University to withstanding mechanical harvesting without loss of quality. Meeker is a late season, very productive summer fruiting raspberry with excellent traditional raspberry flavor.
